Eye opener for February 07, 2024

Something that it seems too few of America's leaders consider is whether the endless wars in which they have involved the United States have Garner any of their expected results.

Have any of America's wars or, more accurately military interventions made America more secure? Though this may be a matter of interpretation or may need a certain amount of insider information, I would have to say "No". This me, it feels like we are all just waiting for a concerted effort from all of the countries we've attacked over the decades. It feels like there is an impending slave revolt is primed to occur. Maybe some Americans feel safer but I don't know how that could be. If America only seems to attack and occupy other countries to steal their resources, how could Americaa be deemed as secure?

Economically, America hasn't benefitted from its aggression. While a tiny minority have truly benefitted from America's aggression, the majority have not. The trillions that have been put into the annual military budget have made those in the market library industrial complex fabulously wealth and have provided a great living for those who worked within the military industrial complex. Too bad inflation has eaten up so much of the money those who worked for defense contractors made. As for the rest of us, what have we gained from 20 years in Afghanistan, 19 years in Iraq, 10 years in Vier Nam, the years spent in Syria, Korea, Libya, the money sent to Ukraine, Israel. Our leaders claim that "if we don't fight them over there, we'll have too fight them here". What does it matter if we have to fight them here? We're all broke, more of us are living in the streets, many of us have to borrow money just to eat and the best we can do for a leader is an old man in severe cognitive decline. If our enemies did come here, would there even be that many people with the mental fortitude to defend a nation that's neglected them for so long. We're becoming a nation of renters and you know renters usually don't take as much care of a property that someone owns and zero care of a property that they can't even rent. Like I said above, it feels like America is simply waiting for the next attack against it and it feels like we'd lose because America has NOT won a war or conflict since WWII... And, that victory was questionable.

So, again I ask

What Americans have benefitted from the TRILLIONS spent in American aggression?

If anyone can come up with one metric or one way that America's military has strengthened or bolstered security, I would love to hear it. Otherwise, maybe we should stop our blood thirty leaders before they start something we can't finish.

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.

Eye opener for May 16, 2024: Is anyone listening?

When I ask the question asked in the title, I not necessarily talking about me. I am also not talking about the literal instances of listening with one's ears. I am wondering rather people are paying
