In the past few decades, one thing that seems to have been lost (at least in America) is a since of community. Perhaps this is simply my perception, but there seems to be an increased atomization of the U.S. population. Instead of a cohesive nation where the strongest help the weakest amongst us to not only survive but thrive, Americans look upon one another with disdain and suspicion.
In this, the beginning of the twenty-first century, the need for community, the entire world over couldn't be greater. With all of the financial strive and artificial scarcity, citizens across the Globe should realize that there is little to no help or relief coming from their government. In America, there's not a single indicator of a leader whose domestic and foreign policies will steer this country clear if the economic hardship it is facing. Those presenting themselves as such are either weak on policies that will serve to alleviate the strain that so many Americans feel economically here at home or they are weak on foreign policies that would strengthen bonds across the world. In either scenario, the outcome is a weaker America and a weaker world. Perhaps a broader view should be considered. Perhaps a hypothetical (albeit unlikely) external threat should be considered. Not that I believe such a thing is possible, maybe our current leaders should ponder upon what would happen if an extraterrestrial race decided to invade Earth. Like I implied, this would simply be a thought experiment to ponder upon the possible outcomes given the current state of the world. Would the governments and people if this planet be able to set aside their differences to address the common threat that an alien invasion would present. In all honesty, I don't think they would, at least not in America where they can't even agree on the differences between a man and a woman or what a woman is or even what constitutes a human. This is troubling and it's an indicator that something needs to change because leaders should be uniting their people not dividing them. Governmentsvshoukd be shoring up and strengthening the bonds between their citizens.
Because of this lack of support, people around the world should understand that now is not the time for self-reliance, but the time for localized support for their fellow man. Now is the time for communities to come together and figure out ways to help one another. Now is the time to ignore centralized authority that only seeks to divide, conquer and control the rest of of for some unknown rationale. In the next few post, I will explore and offer possible solutions to this dilemma. Not only for Americans but for the world.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
