Eye opener for March 22, 2024: The most-fitting word for this epoch in human history will be "irony"

Updated: Mar 24

With almost all (if not all) of Humanities knowledge base on the Web and access to all of that knowledge on devices that fit in our palms, why can't people define what it means to be a woman? Identifying as a woman is one thing. Anyone can identify as a woman and the reasons for such identification may be vast and complicated, but defining yourself and others as a woman should be as simple as whether the individual has the ability to give birth through natural means. This definition would and should include those individuals who have the biological make up to carry a child to term, but due to illness or some other problem(s) with their reproductive system cannot. This same definition should however, exclude anyone who was not born with the biology required to conceive and carry a baby to term. It's as simple as that.

While many people will refute my claim above and the one I am about to make, I would love to hear why previous generations NEVER struggled with this, one of the most basic facts of life. Why is the whole premise of differentiating between the two sexes so troubling to so many people today?

This was a rhetorical question because I believe as I know what a woman is, I also know why people have an issue defining one in public... fear. People are afraid of being cancelled, so they go with thevflow. When the mindset was one based in facts like a woman has a uterus, everyone could safely and openly define and woman. They could honestly say whether an adult with a penis should be allowed in a locker room with an underaged child with a uterus. Regardless of what gender that adult with a penis identified as, their gender preference was less important thanbthe safety of that child. Today, in the twenty-first century however, far too many people will stop when asked if an adult with a penis should be allowed in a locker room where children with uteruses are showering and changing clothes. They will the momentarily consider the outcome of such allowances and they will push past the facts and go straight for how their feelings mandate that society forego the child's right to privacy and security for the adult's right to pick an identity. This, they justify in their heads even a the identity one can choose may be as fleeting as the direction in which the wind is blowing.

And, now everyone is expected to not only know what gender a person identifies as, which as stated above can change on a whim, but they must publically acknowledge the person's identity. Whether the individual is dressed as a woman, but identifies as a man, vice versa or they identify as a plural as in "them" or "them" or if they identify as another spec, real or imagined, every must go along with their self-classification. This, not only FEELS like a means to keep a society from waking up, but can demonstrably be proven to have done so by simply correlating the degradation of American life or the decades with the identity politics that have proliferated in that same timeframe.

Given the fact fewer Americans care or protest the endless wars in which America participates than the right for self-identification, it appears as if they've lost sight of what is truly important. When the concern for the right of biological male who has transitioned to a female to compete in women's sports is a bigger story than the impending arrival of illegal immigrants to your border, it indicates that your citizens have lost sight of what truly matters. But, hey, if weakening the labor market so the living wages that employers were being forced to move towards can be pushed back down to poverty wages is more important to you... More power to you. Go fight for the intangible right to force others to identify you aswhatever you FEEL like that day.

Forget the increasing homelessness, food insecurity, war, poverty that is benefitting the rich. Let the CEO of Kelloggs suggest you feed your family cereal for dinner. Let the CEO of Nestle challenge the idea of people's rights to clean drinking water. Forget the lead-poisones water in cities like Flint Michigan or the contaminated environment in East Palestine Ohio or the bombing of Palestinians in Gaza. Ignore that fact that none of Israel's government identify as Nazis, while their actions emulate Nazi behavior. Ignore the Nakba which happened only three years (1948) after the Jews were liberated from concentration camps. Ignore the self-identifying Nazis in the Azov battalion in the Ukranian military that idolized a literal Nazi from World War II. They have as much right to identify as they choose and the rest of us have just as much of a right to ignore their atrocities in what is ultimately a pursuit of profit.

Let's all bury our heads in the sand when on the fact that the biggest drug dealers are no longer selling their wears on the streets but in doctor's offices across the land. Let's ignore the fact that corporations like Walmart are offering two year loans at 22 percent interest on up to $2000 worth of groceries. Let's ignore the possible grievances those millions of people flooding into America may have towards America since it probably played a big part in their homeland 's decline. Let's ignore the fact that our "wise" leaders are championing the idea of pressing those desperate illegal immigrants into military service for the country that mostly like helped in the destruction of their former country. Yeah, let's arm and train thnhowbto kill. And let's do all of this ignoring while we fight over how you want me to address you mam, air, they, them, zer, zim. Sounds like someone is being manipulated by someone else to keep that someone from realizing that someone else is doing that someone wrong... Right?

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
