For far too long, the masses have viewed the rich as just smarter than the rest of us. It feels like many believe the wealthy deserve their fortunes because they are simply smarter, work harder and did it all on the own. While I'm certain there are examples for each one of these arguments, I am equally certain that there are examples, maybe even moreso that disprove these arguments. One example I would point out would be the French revolution where the richest of the rich lost their lives to the hubris and delusion from which they suffered. History is rude with examples of the ultra wealthy losing it all in pursuit of having it all and, as is said, one of the best predictors of the future is the past.
Historical, empires have gone through several stages the ranged from exploration and discovery, to stagnation, to inevitable decline and collapse. All of the greatest empires throughout Humanity's existence have developed and gone through these stages including the collapse. The proof of this is in the fact that not a single one of those former empires exist today, except for in history books. Even those empires in recent times have ultimately discovered and ended in extinction. There is a saying that the Sun never set on the (fill in the blank) empire that may have at one time but is no longer been true, the British empire being the one preceding the American empire (yes, America acts like an empire).
And, with leadership like that provided by Joe Biden, can there be any other conclusion than America's time has come and gone, but most Americans just don't realize it yet? Given this increasingly more obvious truth, shouldn't one question the intelligence of all the rich people in the richest country to ever exist? Shouldn't Americans wonder why America's military has failed to secure a victory, even though the United States military is ten times larger than the next ten countries combined? When you're (the United States of America) is the bully in the playground, but you can't even beat the smaller kids (Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lybia, and the list goes on) the other kids (B.R.I.C.S.) not only lose respect for you but they no longer fear your potential retaliation.
All of the people controlling America knows it's coming to an end, but instead of trying to mitigate the worse impacts, they're loading up their vaults and preparing for evacuation. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
