Consider the debt owed by America. Just a few years ago, when we created and sold the tee shirt at our store, the U S. debt was only 23 TRILLION! while this may, no DOES, sound bad, it pales is comparison to the 33 TRILLION of debt owed in America today. And worse still it towers over the 5, 10, 15 trillion dollars of debt we were responsible for in decades past. Looking at the disparity between the debt depicted on the tee shirt and the current debt, it's mind-boggling to me that no red flags have been raised to point this problem out... at least none that have been brought to the Public's attention to the degree this issue deserves.
As for the main stream media, while I disagree with this justification, I understand why this exponentially increasing debt fails to make the nightly news. The obfuscation, half truths and outright lies that news sources like CNN, MSNBC, FOX and all broadcast news report pertaining to American debt is filtered through the bias of those who own these corporate news sources The Uber rich are not going to tell the rest of us how much wealth they have, are and will siphoned from us. These basically rely on our own ignorance to continue to prey on us. I say ignorance because most (if not all) of Humanity's knowledge and information is stored on the Internet but people seem less aware of what is going in the world today than at anytime in history.
As for the independent news sources, are there any readily available news sources that are sharing statistics, insights or even opinions about the inequities facing America and the world? I would say that for the most part "NO*. Are there sources out there however is an entirely different question, because while they may not be readily available or as easy to find as simply turning in the television, they do exist. This blog is an example of one, because I have consistently spoken out against wealth inequality as the biggest threat Mankind faces. I've discussed why I believe this to be so in several posts here in the past, so I will not go into detail here (you can read my previous posts), but I will point out the harm it's caused.
The greatest harm, in my humble opinion, is the confiscation of knowledge, truth and honesty. I believe that the news upon which far too many rely on today does little more than distract most from the dire nature of the situation(s) we face today: There are plenty of stories about obesity in America and there are plenty of pharmaceutical commercials about diabetes and obesity, but the solutions presented never treat the underlying problems. America glorifies being overweight but fails to understand the health risks of behaviors that lead to such outcomes. Instead of saying it's unhealthy, people are told to be comfortable with their bodies. Instead of being told to eat healthier, people are told to take a pill to lose weight. Instead of being told to exercise, people are told to take a shot to bring down their A1C (whatever that means). Modern medicine treats the symptoms of diseases like Diabetes but not the disease itself.
Instead of going into other issues caused by the elite when they have too much money, power and control I think I will touch them over the next few posts and then present my conclusions in subsequent posts. In the meantime, lt me leave you with the possible means to combat their control and manipulation
In 2018, I also write a book that now only detailed the problems we would face with the power, wealth and control being vacuumed up by the elites, my book provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
I provide a means for the reader to disseminate the information provided by their news sources, their elected officials and anyonr they choose to follow. In Solution, I offer the read the means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that will improve their lives and the lives of those they care for.
