Eye opener for October 21, 2023

It's ironic that, in America, people fail to see the correlation between the rise of corporate culture and the divergence of genuine connections to coworkers. So many corporations want their employees to view each other as family.

While, in some instances, this corporate family sentiment has a light touch, it exhibits cult-like tendencies in others. The worst part is that this family falls apart whenever it faces any adversities related to money. Every corporate family sheds family members when those family members are NOT billable for more than two weeks.

Another difference between my family and the corporate families in which I've been a part is that my family allows me to live my life when away from them as I see fit. The corporate family will fire you if they deem your behavior on "your own time" unacceptable.

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they chose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those they care for.
