If you're an American, the rich are not only stealing your homes, businesses and productivity, they are stealing years of your life. This is not hyperbolic rhetoric, it's a known fact when one looks at the longevity of the average American historically and compare it to today.
The decades prior to 2010 saw a steady increase in the average American's lifespan. In 2010 however, that number leveled off and since has been on the decline. While there are many factors that attribute to this unfortunate reversal, one common characteristic would be the money made by those promoting the causes behind those factors, .. greed....
The greed required to survive in Capitalism has led to the unhealthy lifestyles that most Americanss live today. I won't go into the details of those things that have led to obesity and a reliance on pharmaceuticals (legal and illegal) here because these things are discussed in the video below. I will however say, that allowing the wealthy to dictate the terms of your defeat is as inevitable as it is avoidable. Inevitable because far too many Americans remain ignorant to the truths that are readily available on Humanity's brain, the Internet. Avoidable, because we have the numbers on our side. For these reasons and more, it is hard to blame any other country for America's woes. We live in the richest nation the world has ever known yet we have increasing poverty, starvation, homelessness and diminishing roads, education, aspiration, opportunity. innovation, creativity, lifespans and more.
By almost, if not every metric, the United States of America is a nation in decline and the blame does not only only test on the shoulders of the corrupt, inept leaders taking us there, but on the rest is us allowing them to take us there.
