It's one thing to believe in something intangible like God. No one can prove or disprove the existence of an entity that doesn't reveal itself in an Earthly, material manner. It's another thing altogether to have faith in things that are easily proven to be false.
How many times can a political leader promise something of which they have not delivered for decades? How many times can they promise to make life better in America and fail to do so in the most meager of ways?
Whether supporting the Democratic or Republican party, American voters now seem more like religious zealots than thoughtful, analytical citizens who weigh the evidence, records or behaviors of the candidates offered in each election. They no longer examine, confirm nor refutes the claims made by those whose implied goal is to represent their best interest.
It's one thing to believe the promises of a first term candidate. They have no record upon which to compare the words spoken during a campaign against the actions taken while in office. It's quite another thing to trust the words of an incumbent whose actions are in opposition to their campaign rhetoric, especially when they've been in office for years or even decades.
How the hell do enough people trust Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Diane Feinstein, Joe Biden when they've been in leadership roles for decades and the country has only gotten worse during their tenures? The only answer is FAITH, because the records of those leaders referenced above and the records of so other leaders exhibit nothing but failure to those they claim to represent.
Given almost any metric of American life, most elected officials in the United States have failed most demographics and classes. Most Americans are poorer and in greater debt than ever before. Most young Americans will never be able to invest in things like real estate, stocks or any other financial vehicles that might outpace the ever-increasing inflation we see today and will see tomorrow. More and more Americans will be forced to work past the current age of retirement, their days of toil ending only when the lives end.
What's truly sad is that the faith so many voters have in their "team leaders", whether they be blue or red (Democrat or Republican, respectively), the justification for such belief is easily confirmed or contested. With all of the knowledge of mankind available on the Internet, the American electorate can readily ascertain historical facts about any and all challenging and incumbent candidates. Whether a local, state or federal race, voters can inform themselves on who they might choose in any upcoming election. This site provides all of the information one might need or want to know about a given candidate.
Most voters however DO NOT truly want to know whether their candidate of choice is worthy or deserving of their vote! The proof of this claim is the abundance of evidence pointing to corruption, malfeasance, sociopathic tendencies, narcissistic behavior, racism and more. In far too many instances, it is so apparent as to be difficult to see how some of our leaders have stayed out of jail, let alone maintain their positions of authority. One example, and possibly the most telling one is how members of the U S. Congress routinely beat most of the World's best hedge fund managers, financial advisors and stock analysts. Could the fact that they have fore knowledge of bills that will impact the price of securities and commodities be the cause for their uncanny success and insight?
The corruption in American politics has become so apparent these days that those partaking in such illicit behavior no longer even feel the need to hide or disguise it. When asked if she thought it and bad idea for political leaders to be allowed to invest in stocks while making decisions impacting those very same stocks, Nancy Pelosi was indignant as she boldly claimed it to be fine. If trading stocks upon which you have complete influence isn't an example of INSIDER TRADING, what is?
It felt to me that American voters were finally waking up to the corruption and deceitful practices of both political parties, but what happened with the Kamala Harris/ Joe Biden swap tells me otherwise. How are Democratic voters okay with their party swapping Biden with someone for whom no one voted. And, who does anyone see Trump as a bigger threat to Democracy than having a candidate like Harris who was simply installed because the party could no longer hide the dementia of their original choice.
I'm not saying Trump should be President. I'm not saying Biden should be President. I'm saying that ignoring all of the red flags from a candidate's past leads to "choices" like Biden, Trump and Harris. We're losing our country and I personally believe the America I grew in was lost decades ago and that, perhaps we needed to lose it to understand what we've lost.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
