How could the $32 trillion dollars of debt be considered anything but an abstract to Americans who average salary is $55 thousand per year. That's $32,000,000,000,000 of debt compared to the average salary in America of $55,000/year. And, consider the debt owed by the entire planet. In the year 2022, the total debt on planet Earth was over $300 trillion dollars. That's $300,000,000,000,000 DOLLARS! Who do we owe that money to?... Aliens from Mars? How could such a thing every be repaid? Is there even a check with enough space for all of those zeroes? This almost feels like something someone just made up. It feels like some unknown person just said "You know what? Earth owes me $300 trillion dollars". Maybe this idea sounds crazy, but does it sound any crazier than the Earth having $300 trillion dollars of debt?
