American leadership should look at what happened on October 7 to Israel as one possibility for America's future. When you force people into a corner under the threat of violence and loss of freedom, should you be surprised when those people fight back?
In America, corporations are allowed to profit to the detriment of more and more people. Student debt turns college students into indentured servants. Inflating everything except wages forces more families to choose between poverty or slavery because the breadwinner(s) must work until death do they depart to pay off the debt accumulated to survive. Drivers must choose between driving to work to put this month's rent towards the car required to drive them to work to pay for the car needed to drive them to work or walk to work to pay for the car that's been repossessed. Workers must choose between working three jobs or choosing to pay the rent or the water bill or the electric bill or buy food.
When the government allows the rich to confiscate or, more accurately, steal the wealth from everyone else, it will discover that the people will only have two options. They can simply roll over and die, or they can fight back. And when they are forced to choose between things like starvation, exposure, and fighting back, they might not choose to fight back peacefully. They might choose to visit the gated communities, private islands, decommissioned and converted missile silo bunkers to take back the resources hoarded by the elite.
To the elite, I say this: You've done quite a good job of placating the masses with your mainstream media propaganda. After all, so many Americans think you deserve wealth that will not only transcend your death but the death of several generations of your offspring. You've done a miraculous job of fooling the public into ignoring the common denominator that inequality plays into almost all of the biggest problems facing mankind today. If anyone would like to point out any major problems we face today that can't be linked to wealth inequality, I would love to have that debate. Otherwise, consider Occupy Wall Street as the last peaceful protest aimed at helping you avoid the violence I fear you are forcing as the last resort for others. You can't have it all and expect everyone else to let you have it all, especially when part of "it" pertains to survival.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control were funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book, Solutions: Enough Complaining. Let's Fix America.
In Solutions..., I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
