Eye opener for December 14, 2023

This topic may seem a little different than the topics usually discussed here, but it's not and I will get to how it relates before the end of this post.

Basically, I want pose a few questions about identity in the twenty-first century:

1) If an individual has to tell you what they identify as, because you can't tell from how they present themselves to the World, is it acceptable to mandate you accept their self identification? In other words, if a person looks like an adult man in every aspect of their outward appearance, should the rest of us be forced to accept them as a "she", "they/them", a "baby", or a "cat"?

2) If what appears to be an adult identifies as, let's say a "baby", should we allow that individual to be admitted into any child daycare that accepts babies? This sounds a little dangerous for the other babies who can't even state the gender or age or species to which they identify.

3) This one may seem a bit silly, but the way the World is going (in my eyes) it could become valid at some point. If an individual identifies as a cow, can they be slaughtered and eaten if they live in a country that slaughters and eats cows. While this question may seem hyperbolic, is it anymore so than mandating that an individual who outwardly presents as a male be identified by everyone as a female.

4) This last question is the one that ties the identity discussion to the topics I normally speak upon on this blog. I will ask it first then point to it's relevance to the usual topics of discussion here.

What do those who push mandating people's right to self- identify onto the World think will be the final outcome of this fight?

If the World is mandated to identify an individual who was born a biological male as a woman, what would happen if people truly believed what they're told over what their senses are telling them? If an individual with a deep voice, Adam's apple, manly figure and penis identifies as a woman and the rest of believe this person to be a woman, where does that leave biological women? It sounds to me that biological women will have more competition, if everyone starts believing the individual referenced and others like them are viewed as much a woman as a biological woman. If Humanity accepts transitioned make to female individuals as women, what impact will that have in the population? Maybe none, but that doesn't seem to be the case when we look at some of the things we are seeing already. Here we have men identifying as non-binary to get into female only tech job fairs

We've seen how woman fair in sports in which biological males who identify as women compete and shatter all records formerly held by women. It is disheartening to see these things, especially when it is discovered that those record-breakers were never competitive in the same sport as men. And, there is an ever-growing list of biological men who were mediocre athletes when competing against other biological males breaking records when competing against biological female athletes.

The way my last question relates to the world is what forcing such ideas portends for our future, initially in America and the West but eventually spreading everywhere. When we ignore science or even things that are observable through our natural senses, we run the risk of breaking Society. This break can occur because we are increasingly segregating ourselves from one another due to ideologies that can't stand up against the most meager of analyses. This, in turn makes us focus on things that ultimately have little impact on our lives while ignoring those things that do. Just ask yourself why is the gender identification issue front and center in the news in a time when homelessness is less so. Question how racism is growing so much in America while groceries, energy, and everything we need to survive is doubling in price while wages remain flat. Could it be that the ultra-wealthy who control all of the news media are pushing stories that have little to no impacts on our lives, so we're distracted from those issues that do? Instead of noticing and discussing how wealth inequality is causing so much harm to the masses, some of us are failing to define what a woman is.

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
