When the highest office in the land is corrupt (the President in the case of the United States) every office below it must have a higher probability of corruption. The reason for this higher probability is that if corruption is overlooked at the top, it will most likely be overlooked at every level below the top. It is therefore more likely that those who are corrupt will do whatever it takes to advance their careers than those who have boundaries and morals. And, levels of corruption in a corrupt system are bound only by the size of that system which will expand until it breaks.
Limits to America's corruption have expanded to encompass the entire planet. This is evident in the fact that the United States is involved in every conflict that involves an illegal extraction of foreign resources. America's supposed fights for Humanitarian reasons or to force an American style Democracy across the Globe only seems to spread its corruption. The proof of this is that none of the people the U.S. have saved from themselves are better off for American intervention. The exact opposite is true and the world is waking up to this fact, as well as the fact that America hasn't won a conflict in decades.
America leaves countries broke and broken. America leaves with its tail between its legs and death and destruction in its wake. America has even reported to outsourcing it's tyranny in places like Ukraine where hundreds of thousands of it citizens have now been killed, and swaths of land have been annexed by Russia. And, all of this death and destruction and loss of life and land could have been avoided had America and the west not intervened and destroyed peace negotiations.
Here at home in America, the situation is only slightly less dire, but increasing in severity on a daily basis. Our cities are becoming overrun with crime, because people don't have access to resources being hoarded by the rich. Homes are being lost, because corrupt, local governments are putting profits over people. America's can't afford the necessities of life because the government allows the cost of everything EXCEPT wages to skyrocket. The biggest drug dealers in America are corporations that peddle addiction while draining the finances and life out of every citizen. Banks in America steal more than every bank robber throughout history ever stole, but few (if any) banker goes to jail. Americans leaders from the top down seem more corrupt than the worst offenders ever experienced in this nation. Serial killer's body count pale in comparison to the number of people (including Americans) that American leaders have killed for reasons that never make sense.
All along the chain of command and up and down the political spectrum, from national to local politics, America's leadership only seems to fail the majority and reward a minority. From the Whitehouse to the Governor's mansion to the Mayors of our cities, we are being let down.
The following is yet one more examples of the corruption that festers in this once great nation.
While this may be an extreme example of the corruption that is becoming so ubiquitous in American electoral politics, it is what's possible when the electorate ignores or relinquish their duty to the Society in which they live. This Mayor is the first female mayor of this city, something that women should be able to celebrate. Her past however was an predictor of her future and though Tiffany's status may have changed, her character surely has NOT. There's a reason why our political leaders feel more like sociopathic gangsters than the compassionate, caring leaders we need today.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
