For those who still think racism is such a big problem in America, I challenge that assumption with this clip from yesterday's post. Corruption, greed and immorality transcend all races, cultures and ethnicities. Stop ignoring the problem which is all about resources. Whether those resources be food, water, energy or money, when hoarded by an ever-DEcreasing number of elite, this represents a greater hardship on the rest of us.
Consider this: are there fewer resources than there were a few years ago? Is there less food, water, homes there there were a few years ago? I would argue "No" and then ask what has changed. The answer is simple... Distribution: Trillions of dollars were printed out of thin air but most of it went to the rich. It's easy to calculate. 5 trillion was printed during COVID and the most given to the masses was two $2000 dollar checks, totaling $4000. Even if the U.S. government sent out checks to all of the approximate 350 million Americans that still only accounts for 1.4 trillion dollars. Where did the other 3.6 trillion dollars go? Five trillion will go a long way to increasing inflation and when wages remain relatively flat, it goes a long way towards making more people poor. More poor people means more desperate people which in turn means more opportunities for those who can buy up the property of those desperate people.
I would argue that a better use of that 5 trillion would have been to distribute more of it to the poorer people of the nation. While, this money would have made it to the coffers of the rich eventually, it would have at least circulated and stimulated the American economy in its way to the elite hoarders. This I argue because unlike the rich who already have more money than they could ever spend, the poor MUST use this money to survive. While this would not solve the impending inflation, it would have staved it off for a while as that money made it way up the pyramid. You can't continue to impoverish more people without reaching a tipping point at which revolution isn't a possibility.
A nation like this is NOT looking out for its people (at least not a majority of its people). A nation like this is unsustainable because a nation can only continue to exist when its people continue to have faith in it. The sad thing for Americans is, where will they flee to, because millions of the refugees created by American interventionism are coming to America seeking economic opportunities.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
