Every policy of the Biden administration has failed America both domestically and abroad.
Here at home, inflation has devalued every dollar in everyone's savings account, pocket and mattress. While this would have impacted us all, it did not harm the rich who had to have received the bulk of the 5 trillion dollars printed up during the pandemic. Just do the math: If every man, woman, and child in America received four thousand dollars during the lockdowns (which is an over-exaggeration) that would mean that the roughly 350 million Americans got about 1.4 trillion of the 5 trillion dollars that the Federal Reserve loaned out to our Government to give to us. What happened to the remaining 3.6 trillion? That 3,600,000,000,000 dollars that I didn't get but now owe 40 percent in interest.
That 40 percent is not some number I pulled out of my butt, it is the amount of debt attached to every dollar the Federal Reserve prints out of thin and loans to the UNS. Government to give out to the rest of us. In other words, in a roughly two (2) year window, the Federal Reserve printed 40% of all U.S. dollars ever printed where 60% was the principal and 40% was the interest owed at the time that money was printed. So, let's revisit the scenario I presented above. If 40% of 5 trillion dollars was only interest and never went out to the Public, that would mean that 1.44 trillion dollars of fiat money (click here for the definition of fiat) which was created out of thin air (click here for a great explanation of fiat currency, it's history and it deleterious effects), was debt that we all owe to the Federal Reserve and did nothing but increase inflation which means you pay more for groceries, gas, clothes, rent, everything just so we can pay back the Federal Reserve (click here for information in the Federal Reserve), which is a bunch of privately-owned banks that our government (and all of us by extension) owed trillions of dollars to before COVID hit our shores. So, continuing with the breakdown of $5 trillion minus the $1.44 trillion created purely as debt leaves $3.55 trillion. Now, subtracting the $1.4 trillion that every American (not really every American) got still leaves $2.16 trillion. What happened to that money? One thing that we know happened is that it increases inflation, impacting us all which would be so bad if it impacted us all equally... But this is America, home of the ignorant. Land of the isolated. This is where inequality serves the rich. Imagine how much a loaf of bread that used to cost 1 dollar impacts a person's money when it goes up to 2 dollars. If you make minimum wages in, let's say Florida, you bring home roughly 257.40 dollars per week. While a 2 dollar loaf of bread per week may not sound that bad, it is 0.777 percent of the money you bring home. Now, add the rest of your groceries, gas, rent, and all of the other necessities of modern life, and your $257.40 of take-home pay evaporates pretty quickly. And, this you must do, week after week. Now, let's see how that percentage differs for someone who makes one hundred thousand dollars per year (gross). Divided by 52 weeks, they make $1,923.97 per week (gross) which comes to about 1,500 dollars they take home every week. This is a lot more than the $257.40 that the minimum wage earners take home so that 2 dollar loaf of bread only represents 0 133 percent of the money they bring home. The inflated cost of bread, gas, and rent doesn't impact them nearly as much as it impacts the minimum wage worker. For the person making a million dollars a year, the loaf of bread is only 0.013 percent of the money they take home every week. Based on the percentages, this equates to the minimum wage worker paying less than $0.03 for that loaf of bread. That is less than three (3) cents that the minimum work would pay for that loaf of bread. Now, I realize this was an oversimplified explanation, but this is the only way you can explain what's going on when the numbers involved become so large as to seem abstract to most people. Think about it. How many people can or want to wrap their minds around the fact that Americans owe over 33 trillion dollars to someone, especially when that someone seems as obscure as the $33 trillion seems abstract?
Ultimately, the only thing I wanted to point out with the example above was that, while increasing your money supply by 40 % impacts us all, that impact is felt much less by those who benefit from the growing inequality in America, imperceptibly by those who really benefit from it and practically not at all by those who control and cause the inequality. What makes them more deserving of such wealth? It certainly not their Humanity, because they don't seem to be very Humane. They aren't Gods, so they can't take it with them, but the impact of their greed lives in, well past the time of their deaths.
So, Biden's domestic policies have caused inflation that has devalued the dollar to the point that American citizens are having to take out loans to pay for groceries (click here) . How else have policies harmed Americans here at home? Let's look at other ways in which Biden's policies have harmed Americans. Consider the fact that a more educated Society is a more prosperous Society, especially in our technologically driven world. The companies that are growing the most are those that are either evolving with the new technology or those whose entire business is based on technology. In a world where corporations have an increasing amount of control over populations and entire nations, would it be wise to have and control the leading technologically based companies? While some may think that there is too much government overreach in the markets and businesses today, I would say look at the other side of the coin where the markets and businesses control the Government. In America, it was proven almost a decade ago that Americans live in an oligarchy by a study done at Cambridge University. The oligarchs include those who control the biggest corporations, so they must therefore have greater control over our Democracy... That is if the Cambridge study from 2014 is correct. Now, if the biggest companies and corporations in the world today have and maintain their status as the biggest companies and corporations, would this indicate the need for more students in the (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) S.T.E.M. fields? I believe it does, but, here, in America, those fields of study are moving further out of reach to an ever-increasing number of Americans. College costs too much and Joe Biden's lying about helping American college study did nothing to motivate more Americans to go to college let alone major in one of the S.T.E.M. fields. If we're being completely honest, Joe Biden's history has policies that have disincentivized people from going to college. Click to see how Joe Biden made it impossible to discharge study loan debt through bankruptcy. And, then click here to see just one example of why Americans will not be choosing to go to college and will therefore NOT be increasing the numbers of those graduating from the S.T.E.M. fields of study.
Your country cannot survive (let alone thrive) in a Global Economy (which is another problem altogether) when its brain trust is limited to the minority of elites who can afford to get a higher education. Let's take a logical look at how limiting your country's brain power limits your country. There are 340,858,537 Americans (as of the writing of this sentence. That's over 340 million people (let's subtract one hundred million who are too old or just lack the ability or desire to go to college) with the potential to advance Society and mankind. That's 240 million people who could make the next breakthrough to impact all of Humanity. It could be a medical breakthrough that cures cancer or COVID-19 once and for all. It could be a dramatic leap forward in rocket technology that finally allows Humanity to be a multi-planet species. Or, it could be an advanced technology that allows us to grow healthy food that Bill Gates doesn't control. It could be several things, but imagine how the probability of such an occurrence is when you reduce the number of people who can go to college from 240 million potential college students to one (1) percent of people who will be able to afford college in the future. That would mean that of the potential 240 brains being given the opportunities to make life better, you only have 2.4 million potential brains set on the problems we face. Now, I get that, not all of the 240 million people in my example would go to college even if they had the opportunity, but neither will all of the 2,4 million in the subset provided. I would bet on the 240 potential college students finding the cure for cancer over the 2.4 million of the elite.
Other countries realize the importance of education and the advancement in technology that potential education in the S.T.E.M. fields represents, so how is it helpful for Biden to lie about actually forgiving student debt for those who have graduated and doing nothing to help those who seek to graduate from college? This is yet another failed aspect of his domestic policy and yet another way in which he and most American leaders are failing America. There is simply no way that this story ends well unless Americans wake up and take power away from the minority that is ushering in this country's demise, whether intentionally or not.
I apologize for the long read and I know I haven't finished Biden's failures domestically or even started on his failures internationally, but time is short. I will continue this in tomorrow's post, so check back then for my predictions on Biden's failed legacy.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
