The World is passing most people by and they don't realize it. When your economy is indebted to the tune of trillions of dollars, your personal income and wealth isn't even a speck in your economy. When it takes one THOUSAND millionaire to equal the wealth of someone worth one billion dollars and it takes one THOUSAND billionaires to equal on trillion dollars, how could a million dollars even be viewed as anything other than a speck in that economy? Put into numbers, one million dollars is $0.000001 trillion dollars so even if you make one hundred thousand dollars a year, your income is only 0.00000000285 times the national debt in America.
While, in the past, I mau have speculated that there might have been some nefarious cabal of individuals like the Illuminati or families like the Rothchilds who were running the world, no longer even consider such things. Now, however, I believe that, whoever was pulling the levers of power behind the curtain has lost control. The numbers we're seeing in economic systems seem to have snowballed out of control. It's as if our puppet masters were trying to kill a single bee by reaching into the hive. They may have thought that they could prevent a swarm, but in reality they were in control up to the point when the entire hive attacked. The problem for the rest of us in this scenario is that we must all suffer from the stings incited by these hidden figures who suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect. How else can you explain the need to keep someone like Joe Biden in power?... If they had a better candidate, one that instilled confidence in people, they wouldn't be running Biden against Trump, a man they practically claim to be the Devil in the flesh.
No, even lacking any evidence, I'm sticking with my belief that they've ( whoever they are) lost control of a situation that has taken on a life of its own. This brings me to yet another way in which I believe the World has left most people behind.
Consider the fact that all of Humanity's knowledge is now on the Internet and available to a plurality of not outright majority of people around the Globe, via computer or cell phone. With this in mind, one would think that people would be smarter. If they don't know the answer, they can Google it or YouTube it. To me it's ironic that the opposite seems to be true. In my opinion, people are getting dumber... at least in the ways that matter the most. Few in western countries have the skills to survive. People today have no clue as to how to build shelter, make clothes or even grow food. Few people even realize that local grocery stores only keep three days worth of food on their shelves. Fewer still even know about the attacks that so many governments around the planet are conducting against farmers. How ignorant must an apex species be to not realize the threat that farmers face in Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, France and America where Bill Gates owns more farmland than anyone else in the country. How stupid is it to, not only not stand with those who provide a necessity like food but to be unaware that it is happening all over the planet as if there is a coordinated attack to gain control over thenentire Human race? Those who can't afford whatever price the elites who seek to buy out those farms bankrupted by immoral laws will be left behind to die.
The same goes for housing that has been made unaffordable to so many as corporations outbid everyone. If you can't afford a house and you don't know how to build one I guess you'll have to pay whatever rent your corporate landlord demands. As for drinking water, just wait for that to be privatized. This seems more likely than not as people have accepted the idea that municipal water sources cannot be trusted to provide clean drinking water. And, what do the elite think about the idea that all people have the right to clean drinking water? Taking another look at conveniences like cell phones, not only is all of mankind's knowledge being virtually ignored but as the greatest means for communication, cell phones seem to fail in that regard as well. In an era and then me when people can call or video chat with someone on the opposite side of the planet, communication seems to be sorely lacking. As the threat of nuclear powers turning on one another looms, leaders like Biden and Putin don't seem to be able to pick up the phone. On a much smaller scale, men and women seem less likely to get together these days. With all of the Social media apps out there, people don't seem to be communicating as well as people did before these things became so widespread. Dating app after dating app appear to foster more distrust and disdain between the opposite sexes or the plethora of sexes that exist today. No one knows what anyone else is today. Men are women. Women are men. Individuals are groups of people one days, chickens the next. The youth of today are being left behind, confused about everything including the most basic traits that should define who they are. Children are being allowed to make permanent decisions on life-defining matters. These kids are being left behind by a Society that will have NO answers to address the mistakes they may have made before they could think as an adult. Canada wants to finance suicide for people who are depressed. I would now like to point out yet another reason I believe most people (practically all people) are being left behind by the World. First let me clarify that the World I mean is the world of mankind. I don't think the planet is leaving us behind. I think Humanity will eventually discover that it has been top of mind once Mother Nature determines that we've had enough time to run wild on Earth.
One of the last and possibly most important ways in which many people are being left behind is war. Most Americans are tired of endless wars but their Government is not listening as they jump from one war to the next. Americans have been paying for major wars in America for several decades but the lies told to build Public support for wars have been exposed for the past two decades, yet our leaders continue to start them. Every American living on the street is being left behind in favor of killing millions for profit.
There are of course more examples that could be cited, but I think I've made my point.

The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
