I'm not saying that money is the only cause for war, but it is the root for the continuation of war. Aggression can be sparked for a myriad of reasons. From cultural to economic reasons, from large, insurmountable differences to minor, insignificant ones, people will choose to attack one another. Maybe this is inevitable. Maybe it's Human nature, I am of the mindset that both are true. I am also of the belief that the extent of duration of most conflicts could have been and can be mitigated or shortened, respectively by choking off funding for many of the wars from the past, present and future. Israel would be forced to discontinue it apartheid, genocidal occupation in Gaza, if the United States stopped sending it's leaders billions of dollars. Zelensky would never have been able to ignore Putin's requests that Ukraine stop bombing its own citizens in the Don Bas region, relinquish requests to join NATO and to criminalize Nazi hate crimes. It was afterall the support of American dollars and money from Western nations that allowed Zelensky to commit to a war effort that has decimated an entire generation of young men from his country's population. If the United States and other nations stopped funding a war intended to ultimately provide corporations with Ukrainian land resources to developed and exploit, Ukraine would not have had to kidnap its own citizens and force them to fight and die for such a lost cause.
Just look it up and in the two examples mentioned herein, you will discover that there is more to both than the legacy media is letting be known. If you have any doubt that corporate news sources are lying, just look at how they professed Joe Biden's mental acuity as healthy up until that last debate. Look at how those same billionaire funded news sources are scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off to justify Biden remaining in a race he can win. Then think, if they could lie about the mental state of the person seeking reelection to the highest office in the land, what else would they be willing to lie about. Ask yourself, how someone like me, who has no contact with Biden or anyone whose more than a simple fan of Biden could see he had dementia or some other mental deficiency before he became president while those in the press corps and those who saw, spoke with and interacted with Biden daily didn't see it. Biden's people and the press either didn't notice his decline or they ignored it at the expense of the nation. Which is worse?
So, get out in the streets and get rid of those who want to continually fund foreign wars while people starve back home... if they even have homes. Stop the wars from which veterans return disabled physically and or mentally and are treated with as little regard as an convicted felon. Stop them from using your hard earned dollars to kill people from places many of you have never heard of and most could not even point out on a map. Stop allowing your leaders to leave the world worse off than they found it. It's simply not worth it and it does nothing but make the future a darker prospect.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
