Eye opener for June 06, 2024: Artificially created crime

Is all crime created equally? Is every criminal (even when committing the same or similar crimes) equal? Is a gangster who steals a pallet of diapers to fence on the black market the same caliber of criminal as , the mother who steals a pack of diapers for their baby?

To me, one of these acts seems to be out of desperation while the other is an act of greed. One act is committed our of necessity while the other is committed for profit. One of these two actions can solely be blamed on the individual(s) carrying out the theft while the other is an indictment of a system that has abandoned those it should protect. Examples of crimes of desperation can be seen throughout the United l and the world. From the mother referenced here to the migrants flooding America's borders. In the latter case, how could one explain an individual or a family choosing to leave their country of origin, where their fellow countrymen and women speak their language to brave a treacherous crossing into the country that oftentimes caused the downfall of the country for which they fled. The potential irony is that these illegal immigrants could one day surpass the standards of living for so many native-borne Americans at best. At worst these refugees will have an epiphany and realize that their new homeland incited the violence and economic turmoil that caused the collapse of their former homeland. If we did have sleeper cells in America before Joe Biden's presidency, we're surely to have them afterwards.

This how ever is just a tangent as the point of this post is to highlight the possibility of a corrupt system leading to nothing but a corrupt population. When American Capitalism, militarism, colonialism forces all allies and its own citizens closer to poverty and further from prosperity, America becomes the target for every country ever wronged or taken advantage of by the United States of America. And this makes Americans targets for the world as well by extension. So, TikTok admitting to the following type of hack is not only understandable (not justifiable) but it should be expected. All of the scams from India that are meant to steal old people's life savings, while wrong are difficult to solely blame on the Indians commiting them.

And, given the fact that, not only did American policy lead to such crimes by impoverishing the world, it's difficult to see how America would have the will to stop them. To be honest, I imagine that American leadership would seek to utilize and enhance such blatant scams. I say this because I see little proof or few trends that would suggest otherwise.

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
