To get a sense of how much power the masses hold, consider the following: There are less than one thousand people who control the fate of 300 plus Americans in their hands. There are 535 representatives in the House, 100 senators, 9 justices on the Supreme Court and 1 president. Now, of course these elected leaders all have staffs and their staffs have staffs, and then there are the state, and regional leaders so the actual number of people holding all Americans lives in their hands is obviously greater than 1000 people, but it this core group of elected officials in Washington D.C. who make the decisions that impact American lives most. The leaders in Washington have kept the United States in perpetual war since 9/11 and every U.S. president (except Trump ironically) has added more illegal wars to their resume since World War II. These people have had the ability to pass a universal healthcare bill for decades but have chosen instead to remain the only first-world country to not provide good healthcare to their constituents. That small cadre of leaders locked down the country during COVID, allowing only the biggest corporations to do business. They've looked the other way while corporations made things housing, college and even food unaffordable to more Americans, all while leading the richest country in the world. They have consistently outperformed the world best stock analyst while they passed legislation affecting the stocks the bought or sold. Some, like Nancy Pelosi have done all of this for over forty years and despite the country declining economically, socially and influentially, have remained in power.
As must be apparent, I am biased as to how I view their leadership, but I challenge anyone to refute what I have said, as well as the problems that I haven't listed this far. Voting for these people over and over again because they are supposedly the lesser of two evils has not aged very well and it has caused irreparable harm to this country and the world.
As I implied above Nancy Pelosi has been in power since 1987... America was better before 1987, but for some reason too few people see this to vote her out of office. This is especially disheartening given the fact that there are so many people who identify as independent that neither the Democrats nor the Republicans could ever win an honest and informed election. These establishment ghouls might not even win the dishonest and misinformed elections they put on every two to four years.
If only the American masses would wake up and simply look at their leader of choices' voting record. Maybe then we could stop the border crisis, feed our poor instead of support wars that kill hundreds of thousands if not millions. Maybe we could make housing affordable and get the federal minimum wage above $7.25. Just maybe we could stop Bill Gates from buying up all of our farmland so he can control our food supply. Maybe we could make the water in Flint drinkable, the environment in Palestine Ohio liveable, the inequality around the Globe history and the world a better place. The answers to our problems are not as complicated as our leaders claim them to be. We can have better leaders than those we're currently offered. There is no way that anyone could ever convince me that Trump or Biden are the absolute best people out of 300 million Americans to run this country... NO WAY!
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
