There is something truly wrong with the world when causing, support or instigating war around the planet is okay, but protesting a war or wars that are pert of an endless string of military conflicts isn't.
While protests against Israel's genocide in Gaza may be the most notable protests against a war or military action caused, supported or otherwise encouraged by American leadership and the military industrial complex (MIC), this is not the only incident of antiwar sentiment being suppressed. After the attacks on 9/11, the media was complicit in ignoring the evidence that questioned the veracity of the official war narrative. The fact that Saudi nationals were the only private citizens who were allowed to fly out of the US before investigations into the attacks had even commenced was troubling and defended answers. The redactions that blanketed and later reveal that 15 of the 19 were from Saudi Arabia begged the question.
"If 15 of the 19 highjackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia, why didn't we go to war with Saudi Arabia, but did go to war with Afghanistan?"
As well as this question.
"And, since none of the highjackers were from Iraq, and no weapons of mass destruction were ever found, why did we go to war in Iraq?"
The Fourth Estate (the press) however refused to analyze or question these facts, choosing instead to allow any dissenting voices to be drowned out by ignorant and misinformed patriotism pushed American into it two longest wars ever.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
