Eye opener for May 29, 2024: Trickle down corruption

As I've alleged time and time again, when the highest office in the land and arguably the world is corrupt, the probability of every other office being corrupt goes up. If the President of the United States of America is corrupt, every office next to or beneath it is more likely to be corrupt.

It's simple. If the boss is blatantly stealing from the office and no one is calling him or her out for their thievery, let alone calling the authorities to come and arrest him, all of his subordinates notice. And, if this thieving boss continues to get promoted, his underlings notice this as well. In this type of environment those subordinates with a greater penchant for underhanded behavior will get promoted more readily. This is because they will be more willing to do whatever it takes for the promotion. These bad actors don't have the moral constraints that inhibit their colleagues, so they will steal, cajole, connive, lie or do whatever it takes to move up the ladder.

There is a saying,

"A fish rots from the head down."

and America and the World are rife with examples of such rot. Just look at the countries where non-governmental organizations (NGOs) privatize water treatment, only to jack up the cost of fresh drinking water. Look any examples where countries like America and organizations like the International Monetary Fund (IMF) loaned money for infrastructure in sovereign lands, only to confiscate natural resources from that same country once their inability to repay the loan was discovered. Usually in cases such as the last just mentioned, the ability to repay these loans is based on speculation of a future Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that is improbable at best or simply a lie.

This post however is to point out how corruption at the top can and often does lead to corruption throughout. This story discusses the dramatic increase in property taxes which are meant to find education and the teachers who educate within. In it, the narrator asks why property taxes are soaring while teachers are being laid off en masse. While it may not be the only reason, but according to Occam's razor, corruption and the misappropriation of funds that it leads to is the most likely explanation for such a paradox. Watch the video here. Then look up what is happening with Fani Willis and super Mayor Tiffany Henyard

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
