Eye widener for June 25, 2024: One more step away from the Dollar

The main post for this blog is called Eye opener for [INSERT CURRENT DATE and Daily title here]. Those are posted at 6:00 AM (EST). Occasionally I post a secondary story called Eye widener for [INSERT CURRENT DATE and Daily title here] as is this post.

With only 193 countries on the planet, every country that moves closer to B.R.I.C.S. and arguably further from the United States and its Dollar, we are that much closer to De-Dollarization.

Though he passed away when I was five years old, I find myself wondering whether I could claim citizenship to his homeland if Malaysia. I have always wanted to visit but, with America failing its people, I find myself wishing to move to my grandfather's birthplace. I've heard nothing but good things about Malaysia, not only from videos but from people I know who lived there.

This however is secondary to the point of this post. The fact that yet another country, Malaysia in this instance is unwilling to be beholden to U.S. hegemony is important. The fact that Malaysia is willing to incur the wraith of the west, is an indicted against America's perceived supremacy

In the past, America has retaliated against leaders who sought to reject American foreign policy. Historically, the United States has participated in coups to get a more compliant leadership that would more readily serve the interest of American corporations. Whether openly supporting opposition to Democratically elected leaders like Jacob Arbenz of Guatemala, Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela, Bashir al-Asad of Syria or surreptitiously overthrowing dictators like Muammar Gaddafi Libya, Saddam Hussan of Iraq, America has done its best to betray citizens around the planet. And, worst still American leaders did all of their dirty deeds disguised as humanitarian or democratic outreach. If my fellow Americans considered themselves part of Earth's community, they should have questioned the motives, especially given the outcomes. In Guatamala, the president sought to nationalize the produce and allow his people to share and reap the rewards offered by the land. For this America incited a coup and helped develop death squads. In Venezuela, America recognized someone who most Venezuelans didn't even know as president. That is until American leaders had to go hat in hand to beg for Venezuelan oil. And, speaking of oil, America continues to occupy the third of Syria that has the largest oil deposits. As for Lybia, Gaddafi's desire for American nations to use a good-backed currency, led to his Denise. Lies about weapons of mass destruction led to Saddam 's hanging and George W. Bush joking about finding no WMDs under a podium at a Radio and Television Correspondents dinner. While we're at it, let's not forget that the American military controlled the source of 75 % of the World's poppy production in Afghanistan while an Opioid epidemic raged back home... It's almost as if the military was unwittingly serving pharmaceutical companies instead of the best interests of American citizens.

Suffice it to say that neither friend nor foe could or can trust American leadership as most positives metrics around the world trend negative. As the proximity to nuclear war becomes evermore apparent by the day, we need not look any further than the current leadership in Washington DC. While Russia and China have played their roles, it is apparent that nuclear war can be avoided if America would simply step away from Russia and Chinas's borders and show a willingness for diplomacy.

So, with Malaysia and 59 other countries seeking membership in B.R.I.C.S., the steps moving away from American hegemony are multiplying. And, when countries that America is willing to go to war with China seek to join the community of which China is a founding member, maybe it's time for America to take a backseat. Maybe America and its citizenry should view the world the way so many others have had to during the Dollar's time as the world's currency of reserve. Maybe my fellow Americans will finally understand that one of the prices for freedom was diligence, not ignorance

In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.

In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
